La Calabria è tra le 52 mete proposte dal “New York Times” per il 2017.
Come ogni anno, è arrivata la classifica del noto quotidiano statunitense che suggerisce quelli che sono i luoghi più belli da visitare e anche i meno gettonati.
Non stupisce allora che del Bel Paese la scelta sia caduta sulla Calabria, una regione da sempre dedita al turismo, ma con endemica carenza di infrastrutture.
Nella motivazione di Danielle Pergament si legge: “Alcuni dei migliori pasti da consumare in Italia non si trovano a Roma o in Toscana, ma in Calabria, una regione del sud. Nota per le pietanze piccanti e gran parte della produzione mondiale di bergamotto, la Calabria si sta concentrando su piatti leggeri, agricoltura biologica e vino ottenuto da viti locali”.
Di questa speciale classifica, però, la Calabria è solo al 37esimo posto.
Nelle prime dieci posizioni troviamo: il Canada, il deserto di Atacama in Cile, Agra in India, Zermatt in Svizzera, il Botswana, Dubrovnik in Croazia, il Grand Teton National Park in Wyoming, Tijuana in Messico, Detroit in Michigan e Amburgo in Germania.
